Amorim Cork, based in Portugal, is a leading producer of cork products renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. The company advocates for the ecological benefits of cork oak forests, which play a vital role in biodiversity and climate change mitigation. Dedicated to social responsibility and environmental stewardship, Amorim Cork joined the Sustainable Wine Roundtable (SWR) in May 2021, aiming to further enhance sustainable practices within the wine industry.

Vinmonopolet, a member of SWR since April 2024, is Norway’s government-owned leading retailer responsible for the sale of alcoholic beverages. With a commitment to sustainability, the company aims to reduce its emissions by 55% by 2030. Recognising that packaging significantly impacts its CO2 footprint and as a member of out Bottle Weight Accord, Vinmonopolet has announced a new requirement for suppliers: starting January 1, 2026, all still wine (0.75 l) priced below NOK 250 must have a maximum bottle weight of 420 grams.
