SWR 2030 Strategy – Open for Consultation

We’re pleased to share the Sustainable Wine Roundtable’s draft2030 Strategy, now open for consultation.

At the heart of SWR’s work is the Global Reference Framework and Sustainability Standards Benchmarking, which together define the evolving sustainability landscape for the global wine industry. Our action areas are designed to catalyse real-world change — while continuously informing, shaping, and refining what sustainability means in practice across diverse contexts.

The 2030 Strategy sets out a clear and ambitious path forward. It outlines our shared vision for sustainability in wine, the role SWR will play in getting us there, and the resources, collaboration, and action needed to deliver measurable impact.

We’ve developed this strategy through ongoing conversations with our members and wider stakeholders. Now, we’re inviting further input during this consultation period, which runs until 1 May 2025. Your insights will help us strengthen and finalise the strategy ahead of its official launch at our Annual General Meeting in June 2025.
