The Bottle Weight Accord brings together wine businesses across the value chain to reduce the carbon footprint of glass bottles, which can account for up to half of a wine’s total emissions. Signatories commit to lowering the average weight of 750ml still wine bottles below 420g, setting a new industry-wide benchmark and driving collective progress toward lighter, more sustainable packaging.
