David began his career in financial roles within manufacturing and publishing before transitioning to the advertising industry, where he became the youngest-ever Board Director of a top 5 agency at 26. He later founded a successful headhunting business focused on media, telecoms, and technology, which he grew to 60 staff before selling to focus on humanitarian work in Africa. In 2007, David established Advance Aid, an NGO aimed at creating a double benefit of aid and trade by pre-positioning locally sourced emergency items, leading to the creation of hundreds of jobs in East Africa. Since returning to the UK, he founded and serves as CEO of a social care agency employing 1,500 workers across Local Authorities and the NHS.
